We are Allison Lynn and
Christine Roscoe, co-volunteer coordinators for the 2008-2009 school year.
In our second year of serving as a team in this position, our goal continues
to be expanding the volunteer program here at Broad Street. We are also
proud to have maintained our school's "Blue Ribbon" status, with over
3000 volunteer hours from 130+ volunteers last year! We work closely
with the PTO board and the Broad St. Staff to ensure that every program has
the necessary people-power to run successfully. We had many first-time
volunteers last year and hope to welcome more of you in the days and weeks
ahead. There's always something to do, and we need
your help. In order to volunteer at the school, be it for only one field
trip or to spend many hours in the classrooms, you must read through the
Codes of Conduct Agreement and fill out the following forms
completely in order to participate: 1. The Volunteer Registry of Hours. 2. The Assurance Form on the back of the Registry. 3. The Broad St. School Volunteer Form. Since we are more familiar with the needs of our group and the school, we are very excited to match our volunteers with what works for everyone as soon as we start receiving these forms. Just be sure to return them in the provided envelope. There is also a PTO Hours Log to keep track of at-home volunteer time. Every hour counts!
